The Perl Conference 2019

January Newsletter

In this issue:

Submit your tutorial proposal

We are looking for half day and full day course leaders to cover a variety of Perl topics from beginner to advanced levels. Tutorial courses will surround the main event days, and be held on June 16, June 20 and June 21. If you are an experienced instructor or speaker, please submit your course information and payment requirements now! Tutorial submissions will be accepted through March 1, 2019.

Submit your talk proposal

Our #CFP is open! The Perl Conference is accepting your talk proposals until March 1, 2019! All levels of speakers are encouraged to make a proposal. It’s a great way to get noticed at TPC and if your talk is submitted, your ticket is free! This year, while available, we are also giving away free room upgrades to anyone who submits a talk, regardless of if it’s selected! So go ahead and submit your topic and abstract now! Organizers will review the proposals, let you know if it is accepted, and if not provide some feedback. We can’t wait to hear your proposals!

Volunteers needed

We’re looking for someone who can help make the significance of the 20th Anniversary of Perl conferences stand-out! The selected volunteer may lead a small group of other volunteers or work individually, arrange for creation and placement of announcements/displays, lead the discussion on special activities that could be incorporated into the event, etc. The selected volunteer will help us highlight our 20th year and will also get free admission to the event’s main conference days! Please send an email to admin@perlconference.us for more information about volunteering.
