When and where is The Perl Conference being held?

The main conference will be June 17-19 2019 with tutorial sessions offered on June 16, 20, and 21. The conference events and recommended lodging are conveniently in one place:

Register to attend The Perl Conference

There are a few different ticket options available for purchase this year. While we will offer early and regular admission pricing as usual, there are two additional ticket options: Special Anniversary Sale (limited time) and Golden Ticket. Special Anniversary tickets go on sale Dec 25th at 6pm EST – before the “early bird” tickets will be available. Early-bird tickets span Dec 29 – March 1.

Special Anniversary Sale

Twenty years ago the first Perl Conference (Yet Another Perl Conference or “YAPC”) cost $99 to attend, so we will commemorate this by offering tickets at the rate of $99 each. This sale will last for only 99 hours. These special anniversary tickets go on sale starting December 25th, 2018 at 6:00PM EST and end 99 hours later on December 29th, 2018 at 9:00PM EST. Anniversary ticket holders will receive a great price on the event ticket and a special anniversary name badge ribbon!

Golden Ticket

This year we are offering 10 Golden Tickets. These tickets are available immediately for $500 each. Golden Ticket holders will receive a free hotel room upgrade, a free conference bag, special recognition on the event website and during the conference! Want to sponsor The Perl Conference?

A donation to The Perl Foundation not only contributes to the Perl Conference in Pittsburg, but also aids our other outreach programs. Perl Foundation Sponsors will get recognition for supporting The Perl Conference as well as our regional Perl Workshops, our Outreach Program for Women, beginner training initiatives, and our grants programs for an entire year. Donating directly to The Perl Foundation is the way to get the most value for your sponsorship money.

Sponsors can also donate directly to The Perl Conference. Often the organizers are able to link a sponsor directly to an event at the conference ( wifi, coffee break, etc )  where the cost of the event is in line with the donation amount. We encourage you to submit your talk as early as possible once submittals are open on December 15, 2018!
