Dawn Wallis

Dawn was one of the Lead Organizers for TPC-DC 2017 and a long-time Organizer for the DC-Baltimore Perl Workshop (DCBPW). Dawn had so much fun last year, she decided in 2018 to work on communications, which includes items like the Perl Conference newsletters. Dawn was also an integral member of the talk selection committee.

Dawn works as a contractor for the federal government, where she uses Perl in working with clinical images and data-sets, automating tasks, building websites and everything else that comes up. In her free time, Dawn spends time with her husband (who she sometimes ropes into volunteering too) and five year old son.
