Probably, you’ve already heard about console oriented services:
wttr.in (weather reporting service), rate.sx (cryptocurrencies
exchange rates service), cheat.sh (cheat sheets and documentation
service) just to name a few.
Several of them though originally were written in Python and Go
were rewritten in Perl 6, and are using Perl 6 now.
What was the reason to do it?
What console oriented services could bring
the Perl 6 community and what Perl 6 could bring
the console oriented sites, in particular cheat.sh,
cheat sheets and docementation service?
Those are the questions that we cover in this talk.
